Urby Passport Holder – Why it’s our new favourite travel accessory

Those who know me know i’m such a sucker for well-crafted travel accessories. You’ll find me constantly browsing sites on the prowl for some new nifty accessories that look good and work well. So when Urby sent us a pair of their Urby Passport Holder in Mr and Mrs, you can only imagine how thrilled I was. (For a minimalist, I love unboxing things way too much). So there it was,

Bikaner Havelis – On the Merchant’s Trail

When we were invited to stay at Narendra Bhawan, Bikaner, the itinerary included a few curated experiences to showcase the best of Bikaner to us. Among these, was a chance to see the Bikaner Havelis on the Merchant’s Trail. The very name brought to mind images of flowing silk, heavy bundles of wool, perhaps even spices, camels, and wealthy merchants that were favoured by the Maharaja. Turns out we weren’t

Narendra Bhawan, Bikaner – Bikaner’s game-changing hotel experience

If it wasn’t for Narendra Bhawan, Bikaner would probably have never featured on our India travel list. While the state of Rajasthan most certainly is, it’s the usual suspects that feature on the list – Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Udaipur. Charles has visited Jaipur and Jaisalmer several times thanks to his day job, and I’ve been to Jaipur on a shoot myself. But we’ve never really visited as tourists or travellers.

Top 10 Things to do in Gothenburg, Sweden

I can’t believe I’m writing a “Things to do in Gothenburg” post, because our trip almost didn’t happen. And if you know just how obsessed we’ve been with Sweden in the past couple of years, you’ll know just how much this meant to us. Our obsession with all things Swedish probably began a million years ago with Ikea (just like everyone else) but went on to mean much much more

Ghent Day Trip- Following our noses

We almost didn’t include this Ghent day trip on our Belgium Itinerary. To begin with, Belgium was a side trip squeezed in between the Netherlands and Sweden. At first glance, it seemed like a tiny sleepy town, not much unlike Bruges, and since we were already spending a couple of days in Bruges, it seemed like a waste of time to visit Ghent as well. Thankfully it was halfway between

Secret Beaches in India – 5 on our Bucketlist

Beachbum has probably been at the top of Charles’ “What he wants to be when he grows up” list. So naturally, we’re constantly on the lookout for secret beaches whenever we travel around the world. But over the years, our travel radar has realised that we needn’t look for some splendid, pristine and beautiful beaches outside of India, because there are some hidden in our very own country. The 5

And like we’ve said before, we try to find those trips that let us truly take a break from our hectic style of travelling. You’ll find the whole story on

The I amsterdam City Card – 5 Reasons You Should Get it

The I amsterdam City Card promised to be a fantastic way to dive into all the great attractions the city has to offer what with all the discounts and freebies advertised on their site.
