Ghost town in India: Kuldhara

We’ve been to spooky places before. From the eerie Museum of Toruture in Montepulciano to the spooky subterranean Catacombs in Paris. So while I was in Rajasthan scouting locations for a shoot, the chance to hop into a famous legend of Rajasthan Tourism – Kuldhara ghost town in India, I jumped at it. Roughly 18 kms from Jaisalmer, we took a left off the Jaisalmer-Sam-Dhanana Road to get to this much talked

Bangkok Boutique Hotel: The uber-chic Oriental Residence

Driving from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Oriental Residence, a Bangkok boutique hotel, we couldn’t help but think back to all the time we’d spent in Bangkok (and Thailand) and how much we love the place and the people. We’ve been here more times than we can count and on each trip, there’s always something special we’ve taken back with us. Little did we know that we were on our way to

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok Luxury Hotel That Outshines The Rest

We couldn’t look much further while looking for the ultimate Bangkok luxury hotel. The Mandarin Oriental is the oldest hotel in Thailand. La grande dame de Bangkok. And we were standing in its lobby, surrounded by smiles as large as ours, about to be checked in at an experience

Several winding roads, steep climbs and gasps later, we

Petra, Jordan – Beyond the Treasury

Petra. It was everything I could do to tear myself away from staring transfixed at the treasury. Al Kazneh. The most impressive tomb, which has come to be the iconic representation of this UNESCO World Heritage Site had lived up to every aspect of magnificence that had been built up in my heart. Continuing on from Part I of my experience at Petra, Jordan – The Nabatean Mystery, the Siq

Lufthansa Diwali Surprise – Win flights with your loved ones

Lufthansa’s been fast evolving into quite the likeable airline brand with all of the Indian touches they’ve been adding lately. Charles last flew what we imagined to be a quintessentially German Airline when he popped over to Bucharest earlier in the year. And while the Business Class kits were upto the German quality standards, the hospitality was refreshingly Indian. And this year, Lufthansa is celebrating Diwali in great style particularly with our two
