Sydney Sights: Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and the Rocks

This was my third time in Sydney and Charles’ first. Of course, it was the first time I was seeing the city as an adult, and was looking forward to how my new perspective would change my impression of it. I also wanted to ensure Charles’ didn’t miss out on anything just because I’d seen it before. We’d already spent a fair amount of time in Australia on this trip,

Exploring the Barri Gotic, Barcelona

The Barri Gotic, Barcelona is easily one of our favourite neighbourhoods in the world. We couldn’t wait to discover the secrets this neighbourhood, that was once the ancient port town of Barcino held. We were staying close to it, and knew we’d keep passing it. But we didn’t want to miss out on anything. So we set out exploring the Barri Gotic on foot. Exploring the Barri Gotic: Our walking

Christmas in Paris – Of yuletide and purple skies

Christmas in Paris was something we experienced on our very first trip to the city of lights. And it made the experience absolutely magical. She was decked out in her finest jewels, the cheer of yuletide visible on the otherwise stressed and hurried Parisian faces as sweets, wine and gifts adorned every shop window, the cold making us want to step into every heated store. Christmas in Paris is definitely

Chora Church, Istanbul: A hidden gem

The Chora Church, Istanbul is an often overlooked, unique and offbeat attraction in Istanbul. The reason? It’s really far away from Sultanahmet and the Blue Mosque where you’ll likely be staying. Getting there was a bit tedious, having to change trams and buses (trying to catch the correct bus at a large terminal where nobody spoke English was testing) followed by a long walk along the old city walls of

Free Singapore Tour, Changi Aiport

The free Singapore tour, Changi Airport offers is a fabulous way to spend a long stopover regardless of whether you’ve visited Singapore earlier or not. We’ve both been to Singapore on numerous occasions either as children or later on work, so we didn’t really want to stop off in Singapore and spend in time there on our way to Australia but since it was a long layover at Changi Airport,

Top 5 Places to Revisit

We didn’t think we’d ever do a post on the Top 5 Places to Revisit, but here we are. We’ve always treated every single trip of ours like it’s the last time we’ll ever go there (so that it feels like the trip of a lifetime, every single time). But there are some places we left little pieces of our hearts, and we know we aren’t done with those places

Top 10 Things to Do in Bangkok

Bangkok is easily one of the most popular travel destinations from India right now with the sudden influx of low cost carriers going international and Indians too! We know it’s gone super high on popularity thanks to the cheap shopping and well, frankly the promise of a land where everything goes (ping pong bars and massages with happy endings included). Stereotypes aside, we found Bangkok really does have something for
